Business Development (Contract Recruitment Specialist)

Salary to £50,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Car allowance + Excellent Benefits.

We have an unrivalled opportunity to work for a market leader of temporary, permanent, and interim recruitment services within the Automotive, Aerospace and General Engineering sectors throughout the UK and abroad.

Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to promote their highly efficient and successful Contract Recruitment Staffing Solutions Service.

A pivotal role for the company, with the support of the Managing Director, Board Directors, Divisional Managers and Delivery Consultants, you will be responsible for developing new and existing business relationships within the SME engineering and technical sectors that utilise skilled white-collar and technical contractors.

Job specifications :

  • Account development of existing business relationships.
  • Establishing new business opportunities with contractor recruitment users by market research, networking and attending industry events.
  • Attend regular client meetings to ascertain upcoming projects and anticipated headcounts.
  • Provide clients with bespoke recruitment solutions on a PSL/Packaged Works/Sole Supplier basis.
  • Main point of contact for bids, tenders, presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Work with Directors and Senior Contract Consultants to discuss and implement business development strategies and market mapping. 

Your Profile: 

  • 5 years plus proven track record in recruitment business development and delivery within the engineering and technology sector.
  • Experience in delivering recruitment services to Contractors.
  • A consultative and persuasive relationship manager willing to invest time into forging the right commercial relationships for the business – not a quick sell mentality.
  • Highly effective communicator with strong presentation skills and decision making/negotiating experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate at all levels plus within a close-knit team.
