We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join an industry- leading organisation that specialises in offering a range of recruitment services. The company offers a generous salary with a realistic year one OTE of £55,000 - £60,000, plus a benefits package that is associated with working for an award-winning organisation, including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, great hours, a high level of autonomy and plenty of room for growth and progression.

The role involves supporting the Head of Business Development to implement the company's growth strategy, identifying new business of known contract /permanent recruitment service users and potential service users to partner with, and overseeing the seamless transition of the new client into the company’s suite of brands.

You can either be based from their offices in Birmingham, North Midlands or there is also an opportunity for this role to be a home/office hybrid role.

As a New Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in building partnership 

agreements for their suite of organisations, ranging from Health Care, Blue Collar, High 

Street, Engineering & Technical to FM and Social Housing.

key duties will involve: -

  • Take full ownership of your part in the growth strategy including researching, planning, networking
  • Contacting new businesses each day by phone, email, and social networks with the view of working together.
  • To build effective relationships with new customers, by use of probing questioning, clarification and gaining a full understating of their recruitment requirements.
  • To add value by positively and enthusiastically discussing the company, brand, values, and products & services to ensure that a professional image is always provided to customers and colleagues. 
  • Maintaining and exceeding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. 
  • To be accountable for growth performance at all levels
  • Visit existing and potential new clients, attending sales meetings to promote the business.
  • Attend conferences, exhibitions, and events where appropriate.

The successful Business Development Executive (Recruitment) will have: -

  • Proven working experience as a Business Development Exec, Sales Executive, Business Development Executive or Sales Development Representative
  • In-depth knowledge of the Midlands area and the opportunities for recruitment business growth within it
  • Proven ability to generate new business
  • Highly Innovative problem solver: possessing strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, organisational, and demonstrating the ability to meet achievable sales targets
  • A clear communicator, who is comfortable and capable of dealing with stakeholders at all levels
  • Display a consultative, professional, business partnering approach
  • Strong work ethic and determination to succeed
